HENAAC Scholarship  A merit-based scholarship ranging in amounts from $500 to $10,000

Transportation support to the annual HENAAC Conference, where Scholars are presented with their scholarship alongside the sponsor. The 2018 HENAAC Conference will he held in Pasadena, CA from October 17 – 21, 2018. Scholars will be provided travel beginning Wednesday, October 17.

Applicants must demonstrate merit through academic achievements, leadership and campus/community activities

Applicants must be pursuing a science, technology, engineering or math degree

Applicants must have an overall minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale

Applicants must be of Hispanic origin and/or must significantly demonstrate leadership or service within the Hispanic community

Recipients must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program for the upcoming fall semester, at an accredited 2-yr or 4-yr college/university in the U.S. or its territories.

Of Latinx/Hispanic Heritage

A first generation college student who graduated from a high school in Yamhill County

Enrolled as a full-time student in a four-year accredited college or university.

A student in good standing with a college cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.

In junior or senior year with intent to graduate within 2 years.

Able to demonstrate community service and civic involvement.

Willing to be featured in Unidos- related promotions in print or social media and attend an event in May 2018 where scholarship will be presented 


Immigration status does not affect eligibility.

Oregon Promise #GRADitudeOR  $1000  The contest is open to any public high school senior in Oregon. To receive the grand prize of a $1,000 scholarship, the winner must be a graduating senior and demonstrate enrollment in an institution of higher learning (post-12th grade) by Oct. 1, 2018. Entries limited to one video per social media account. Students featured by The Promise of Oregon campaign are encouraged to participate and enter a video. Week 1: April 15-21, 2018
