Corvallis Trails and Other Outdoor Activities:

• William L Finley Wildlife Refuge, home to rare habitats that support thousands of species, featuring swans, elk, wildflowers, and picturesque vistas.
• Bike Rentals

• Osborne Aquatic Center: This facility is equipped with four individual swimming pools as well as Otter Beach, their famous outdoor water park.
• Avery Park: This large park, located along the Marys River, has a wide variety of recreation opportunities including trails and river access, rose and rhododendron gardens, and a community garden.
• Crystal Lake Trail: This large park on the banks of the Willamette River has paved trails passing through sports fields and a frisbee golf course, along with natural-surfaced trails next to the river.
• Bald Hill Trail: Recreationists can go for miles in this beloved network of trails that offers something for everyone.  
• Mary’s Peak Trail: Mary’s Peak, at 4,097 feet, is the highest point in Oregon's Coast Range and the most prominent peak to the west of Corvallis. On a clear day, you can see both the Pacific Ocean and many of the Cascade peaks.

• Fitton Green Trail: A good hike through a new natural area that includes several elevation changes.

• Minto-Brown Island Park: 29 miles of trails in Salem. This park also serves as a waterfowl and wildlife sanctuary, which you can enjoy from the observation platforms along the sloughs. Blue herons, ospreys, squirrels, and rabbits are among the many different wetland creatures that call this park home.
• McDowell Creek Falls: Beautiful vistas of Royal Terrace and Majestic Falls viewed from bridges and viewing decks along 3 miles of hiking trails in Lebanon.
• Tax-free shopping at the Woodburn Outlet Mall.

• Molalla River State Park: Combines a scenic drive, hiking, picnicking, boating, wildlife viewing, and a ferry ride.

Eugene:

• University of Oregon’s Museum of Natural and Cultural History
• Mount Pisgah Arboretum, a 209-acre nature education facility where visitors can explore the ecology of the southern Willamette Valley.
• Cascades Raptor Center: Nature Center and Wildlife Hospital

A Bit Farther Away:

• Multnomah Falls: Oregon’s tallest waterfall (two hours away from Corvallis, 50 minutes from Portland)
• Columbia River Gorge: The largest National Scenic Area with stunning views, waterfalls, and scenery (two hours away from Corvallis, 34 minutes from Portland)
