

OSU Open Campus is a bridge that connects college, career, and community to learners of all ages. Our services include career exploration, college access, pre-transfer support, and pathways in trades and Career and Technical Education (CTE).
As part of Oregon State University’s Extension Service, we bring knowledge and resources directly to communities across the state, just as Extension has done for generations. Our coordinators work alongside community partners in the regions they serve to develop and expand access to programming tailored to each community.
Student Mentoring/Advising: Our coordinators provide personalized support for high school students, families, community college students, and adult learners. We connect individuals with valuable resources and work to co-create individualized educational and career plans.
College Access Workshops and Programming: We collaborate with local partners and schools to deliver dynamic workshops, offering resources and information for students to confidently navigate their post-secondary educational journeys.
Community College & Pre-Transfer Student Support: We offer personalized one-on-one support to help students explore and navigate their transfer options from community college to any four-year university. Our support includes guidance on the application process, connecting students with key campus resources and university contacts, and helping them prepare for a successful transition.

Scholarship Texting Series: Our texting series keeps students and parents informed about college scholarship opportunities. Learn More.
Adult High School Diploma: Our coordinators can connect you with an online program for adults who would like to complete their high school diploma. Learn More.
College Student Ambassador Program: We have a team of near-peer OSU students that connect with OCJ program participants to share their journey to college and experiences as college students.
Career Exploration Events: We partner with local organizations to offer immersive career exploration events for various age groups. Examples include career days that focus on specific industries (e.g., healthcare, aviation, natural resources) and career-focused camps (e.g., STEM, outdoor careers, healthcare).
Career and Technical Education (CTE) & Trades Support: We support students in exploring Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways through personalized one-on-one guidance and hands-on career exploration activities. Our team helps students identify their interests, access relevant resources, and connect with industry professionals. Community Outreach and Engagement: We connect with communities to co-create meaningful programming opportunities. We bring together local resources, partners, and passionate individuals to foster collaboration and spark innovative ideas tailored to each community's unique needs. Our work is rooted in relationship-building and responsive engagement to ensure programming is relevant, inclusive, and impactful.
Community Vibrancy: We collaborate with communities to address local challenges related to education, workforce development, and quality of life. Our coordinators serve as neutral conveners and connectors, including to help link communities to OSU resources and research.
CliftonStrengthsFinder Coaching: Our certified CliftonStrengthsFinder coaching helps individuals and teams unlock their full potential by identifying and developing their natural talents. Through personalized coaching and team workshops, participants gain deeper self-awareness, improve communication, and enhance collaboration. This offering can be tailored for students and/or professional individuals This offering can be tailored for students and/or professional individual and teams. Coaching will come with a cost per participant.
Rural Data Office: Our interdisciplinary team offers expertise in accessing and analyzing publicly available data on Oregon communities. We provide guidance on data interpretation and assist with primary and secondary data collection, supporting community-data users across the state. Learn More.
