In Tillamook, Juntos Afuera is a 10-week outdoor camp for high school Latinx students to learn about and celebrate Latinx culture, while providing leadership development skills that grow an active group of Latinx explorers and stewards.
In Hood River and Wasco Counties, Juntos Afuera is being piloted for middle school students during the summer of 2022. The pilot will be a collaborative effort with a local social service agency to bring youth to experience and explore outdoor recreation, careers, and their own Latinx identities.
