PASOS| STEPS is a bilingual college planning resource that helps Oregon students prepare for college through a step-by-step Google Classroom curriculum, free resources, and personalized support from local Open Campus & Juntos Coordinators.
PASOS|STEPS Resources Include:
- PASOS Colegiales| College STEPS Google Classroom (High School Students): A structured, self-paced curriculum consisting of 10 modules that guide students through the college admissions and enrollment process with support from an Open Campus Coordinator.
- Handouts: Downloadable handouts, worksheets, and college access materials for educators, counselors, community partners, and families supporting high school students, college students, and transfer students.
- Family Guides: A resource that helps families understand important college-going milestones and ways to support their student's journey.

The PASOS Colegiales|College STEPS Google Classroom is designed specifically for Oregon high school students and features ten interactive modules that guide students through key milestones on the path to college. From exploring college options and submitting admissions applications to completing financial aid, applying for scholarships, enrolling in first-year support programs, and preparing for college enrollment, PASOS helps students stay organized, informed, and on track. Participants also receive individualized mentoring and support from staff throughout the experience. Is the program free?
Yes. PASOS resources, including downloadable handouts, are available at no cost to students, families, educators, and community partners.
Who is eligible to participate?
PASOS is open to all students. The program is designed primarily to support middle and high school students as they prepare for education after high school, but educators, schools, and community organizations are also welcome to use the resources to support college and career planning
Can parents participate?
Yes! Parents, guardians, and family members are encouraged to participate. PASOS provides resources and information to help families understand the college-going process and support their students in planning for life after high school.
Does this only help students attending OSU?
No. PASOS is designed to help students explore and prepare for a variety of postsecondary pathways. Whether a student plans to attend a community college, four-year university (including OSU or another institution). PASOS provides resources to help them make informed decisions and successfully navigate their next steps.
Who can use the PASOS resources?
Educators, school counselors, college access professionals, and community organizations can use the PASOS curriculum to support students throughout the college and career planning process.
How do I access PASOS?
Students, families, and educators can access PASOS resources online. Some schools and organizations also offer facilitated Google Classrooms and support from local PASOS coordinators.
Are the resources available in Spanish?
Yes! Our educator resources are available in Spanish and English.
