Juntos Afuera




Juntos Afuera is an outdoor program with the goal to show Latinx students that the outdoors is an inclusive space where they can learn about and celebrate Latinx identity and culture.


Juntos Afuera is an outdoor program for high school Latinx students to learn about and celebrate Latinx culture, while providing leadership development skills that grow an active group of Latinx explorers and stewards.

Activities Include:

  • Kayaking
  • Hiking
  • Bird watching
  • Ziplining
  • Exploring Latinx identity
  • Learning about outdoor career opportunities from Latinx natural resources professionals
  • Sharing experiences with others, such as a recent presentation to the county commissioners
  • And more!
